Introduction Krissia Challenge

INTRO TO THE CHALLENGE

This month we are working with people from Fomento de San Sebastian and Angulas Aginaga. Angulas Aginaga told us about a challenge that consists on inventing new ideas to make children eat more fish. For that we are having some lessons that are going to help us to build our ideas. On the one hand we will have a lesson with Iñigo from Fomento San Sebastian to learn how to make a Canvas and a Swot. Then we are having a class of attitude and team working to know how to work with different people. After that, we are meeting people from Angulas Aginaga to present our idea to them and make changes if it is necessary. Then we will have a lesson with Javier Miguel who is a professional of visual thinking, and with him we will learn to explain our idea in a visual and clear way. And to finish we are going to have the last lesson in which we will have to present our last idea.

We think that is going to be an enriching experience because we are going to work for a company for the first time, and we are going to have the opportunity to know how a company works. Furthermore, we are exited because we are also learning about visual thinking. We will do our best to convince them that our idea is the best and that although we are really young people, we can do a great job.

Canvas and SWOT

 As you know, we have been working with Krissia, they told us to give them ideas to make children eat more fish. That it why, we thought that it could be a good idea to create some characters appealing for children, and put some recipes in the back for parents.

Visual thinking

We had the honor to meet an incredible artist called Javier Miguel Garay who taught us how to to a visual thinking. This visual thinking of our project for krissia shows in a really clear way what our idea is about. We really enjoyed this activity and we think we did a great job!

Krissia challenge

Our team (Irati, Aitziber, Irati and Aitana) has made an incredible job to archieve our idea. The challenge was about making children eat fish. We have been working with Angulas Aguinaga for about six weeks and even if we have been working hard, we have had an amazing time.

 1. Detail your idea: Our idea would be to change the package introducing appealing characters for children that we will show them to you later on, we are gonna insert some recipes for parents to have ideas to make their children eat fish. Furthermore, we are gonna add 2 stickers per package for children to collect them, in that way children will like to buy more packages.

 2. Two virtues Children will eat more fish in a healthier way and parents will get inspired by the recipes for cooking and they will save time as it is easy to prepare.

 3. Two problems and your response Because of the author’s rights, it would be expensive to add a character such as spongebob so we decided to create our own characters (Kris and Sia). The other problem was that at first we thought to put the recipe of the croquetas just in the package but then we thought to sell them already prepared, as it eases parents job.

 4. How to make it real? What do you need to make it possible. On the one and, the only thing needed would be the machine to print the new packages and to make the stickers. On the other and, we would also need the machine for the production of the croquetas.

5. Which points of the challenge do you address with your proposition. They asked us to promote the eating of fish in children and young people and even if we focused on children, we think we archieved their expectations. Also as we ad to promote krissia, we put krissia in our product. And we archieved the idea of catching the attention of children by adding te collectionable stickers.

6. Which technical help do you need. As we have already mentioned we will need a machine to print the new packages and to make the stickers, and also for the production of the croquetas. Another technical help that we would need will be publicity company to inform the clients about our new ideas.

7. Why is your project the best possible? Because our idea will be appealing for parents since we are showing them different and easy ways to make children eat more fish, and it also will be appealing for children because they will love the characters that we are going to make, and they also will like to complete the collection of the stickers.

End of first term

Well, this has been my first term, I have learnt many things I didn't know

ARBUS DIANE

This is the presentation did with Irati about photographer Arbus Diane. At some poins it was kind of a challenge because behind some of the pictures there's a lot of hard work. But in general it was fun to make it.  What I am going to do now is focus more and explain one of the pictures I took. It shows mi father looking excruciatingly to the camera what makes it look similar to Arbus Diane's pictures. The fact that he's got the pupils of the eyes in diferent sizes, make my father look weird or different, the kind of subjects Diane took indeed.
I also used the technique of filling the frame to focus on his look.

Photography tips

As you can see, here, I used the rule of odds, that make the picture look more interesting. The rule of odds consists on putting odd numbers instead of pairs.

Here, I used the tip of the magic hour that consists on taking the picture at the perfect hour to have  a better lightning. I went out with a friend and stayed at a bench in a park for hours and this blue and pink gradient in the sky is the result.

Using the framing tip, I took this picture to mu cactuses. I think it looks way better with the frame.

BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY

This picture was taken with a narrow depth of field.

And this one with a large depth of field.

Finally, I took a picture of myself while I was moving to create the effect of the speed of shoot.

LETTERING

This is the calligraphy artwork I’ve made to say welcome. I'm very used to doing this kind of stuff so it was an easy task for me to do.
I think lettering is quite important nowadays in marketing fields for example, as it is used to attract the consumers' attention by it's 'beauty'.

Fake news

   In April fools day, in 1957, BBC produced a report about how spaghetti grown from trees. At the time, spaghetti was very little known in the UK, so nearly everyone believed it. Decades later CNN called this broadcast "the biggest hoax that any reputable news establishment ever pulled".

MASS MEDIA

The mass media is a diversified collection of media technologies that reach a large audience via mass communication.

 There are different types of mass media such as broadcast media (TV, films...), outdoor media (billboards, avertisements...) or print media (books, newspapers...)

 The one we use the most frecuently in our current lifes is the Internet, where we find any kind of information or any other useful things.

 Mass media is  essential in our daily lifes because we use it for entertainment, communication, in artistic ways or with educational purposes.

(This part is just mine):
In my daily life, one of the mass medias I watch is Eitb2 for example. There, you can watch the news or TV programs such as the conquis and stuff.
Another one could be Youtube were we can watch videos of whatever we want to see. In my opinion it's an useful platform as you have the choice to select whether you want to watch a funny clip or a tutorial (for example)
Last but not least, for example, my father reads the newspaper from Argentina online (as he is from there). So that would be the third mass media platform I use in my daily routine.

T-shirt design

Nerea, Lide and I have designed the T-shirt for the European Languages Day contest.

I really hope you like it. It shows a man opening the mouth that represents the languages from Europe.

European day of languages

  The 26th september will be the european day of languages so we will have to do some proyects about it, and in this entry I'm going to plan them.

  I think this day is very important as language diversity is important (either in Europe or in the world) because languages show each one's culture in some way. I also think, it's beneficial encouraging people to learn new languages and to be multilingual as it can be helpful for the future.

  To reach the objectives of the european day of languages, we are going to prepare some activities and a promoting video that will come soon.

  I'd like you to get involved with this "language day's objectives" by taking part in our activities.

2018/09/28

Our teacher asked us to plan something about European day of languages and we have decided to make a treasure hunt with people from first year. We thought that this was a great idea to get to know other cultures and languages in a creative way.

The treasure hunt consists on making a circuit throught luberri while finding clues given just  if they answer correctly the questions we ask about Europe and languages to the participants. I have to say that the kids had a great time and enjoyed it.
